Dedicated ice making equipment information centre for specifiers and consultants launched
Hubbard Ice Systems, the UK distributors of Scotsman Ice Systems, has launched a new web based information centre for technical specifiers and food service consultants. The unique information centre is designed to provide all the information that a designer, food service consultant, food technology or industrial specialist needs to identify the correct ice making equipment for any given use.
The information centre draws its information directly from Scotsmans’ European manufacturing base in Milan and provides the most up-to-date information available on the complete range of Scotsman ice making equipment.
In a move to simplify access to information for technical specifiers, a comprehensive library of technical specification data sheets and CAD drawings are available for free download.
Adrian Rayner, Key Accounts Manager, explains the importance of the new site for specifiers, “Not having current technical data at your fingertips or having information that has been superseded is one of the biggest complaints that I hear from members of professional organisations including the FCSI, CESA and CEDA. Scotsman is well known for the quality of the information they offer but keeping track of specifiers addresses and updating information by email or post can be a laborious task and even though we pride ourselves on providing quick technical responses, answering questions late at night, over weekends or on public holidays can slow the process down. Now we have created an answer that will be the envy of any manufacturer, we have made sure that the information centre is easy to navigate with no need to register as a user, so all current data and user information is available on a 24/7 basis wherever you are in the world”.
The centre includes an online calculator which enables specifiers to select the correct ice making, storage and delivery equipment by the sector they operate in, the amount of covers for the hospitality and catering sectors that they need to specify for or the operational requirements for medical, industrial, fishing or alternative sectors.
The information centre is launched on 14th June and can be found at www.scotsman-ice.co.uk
