Size really does matter when its fastfood
Hubbard Ice Systems, the UK distributor of Scotsman Ice machines will be launching its new Compact Dice Cube Ice Maker at this year’s Hotelympia.
The new Scotsman MV426 is designed especially for the Fast Food sector, where a high level of food and drink presentation is vitally important and a small footprint are the key selection criteria for ice making equipment.
The MV426 is a modular Dice and Half Dice Ice Cube Machine, producing up to 240 Kg of cubes per 24 hrs. The production unit sits on a choice of three insulated storage bins and is designed for high street outlets with a high footfall.
With a volume of just 0.22 cubic metres the production unit is designed to be compact, quiet and efficient and features fast-drop ice harvest technology to reduce energy consumption and increase production capacity.
The production unit is also designed to be easy to operate, Auto-Alert indicator lights provide operational information resulting in early alert and fast diagnosis of faults and errors combined with a hand removable water pump and distribution tube to make routine cleaning easier than ever before.
As with all Scotsman machines, hygiene features prominently and the use of Ag-ion® antimicrobial protection inhibits bacteria growth extending the effectiveness of the regular cleaning regime.
