Hubbard Ice Systems has launched a website dedicated to users of industrial ice. Ice is used by an increasingly wide range of industries and this site, www.industrialice.co.uk, will be a useful resource as it is the first to offer advice on different types of ice and their applications. It also features a selector page so that visitors can see which industrial ice machines are most suitable for their needs.
Hubbard is UK distributor for the market-leading Scotsman range of ice machines, and the site highlights the company's range of flake, superflake and scale ice machines available for the industrial market. The site also includes detailed fact sheets on each machine.
"Industrial ice is an expanding market but there are few figures or guides for users", says Chris Davis, Commercial Director at Hubbard Ice Systems. "These machines generally have high production rates and often need to operate continuously, around the clock without a break. They also can be installed in tougher environments, such as the scale ice machines designed for marine use, aboard trawlers."
Industrial ice machines from Hubbard range from smaller flake ice machines, producing just 120kg every 24 hours, to the massive Eve models, which are capable of churning out almost one tonne of scale ice per hour, around the clock.
